The company is on a dynamic expansion path involving organic growth, strategic acquisitions, and ongoing investments into data analytics, pricing strategies, and operational excellence.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve data pipelines and dashboards used by departments such as Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Pricing, ensuring uniformity in revenue metrics, methodologies, and data sources.
- Support monthly business reviews and annual budget planning with in-depth revenue analysis, insightful commentary, and performance reports.
- Evaluate business and operational effectiveness, pinpoint inefficiencies, and implement process enhancements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to execute strategic initiatives and high-impact projects.
- Work directly with leadership teams to uncover operational bottlenecks and offer data-driven actionable recommendations.
- Assist in designing and developing a centralized data platform with the wider data team.
- Champion automation and ongoing improvement efforts to boost efficiency and enable better decision-making.
Candidate Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Business Analytics, Strategy & Operations, Revenue Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related areas.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for dissecting ambiguous problems and devising practical solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python with experience managing large datasets and independently developing analytical tools.
- Experience with dashboard creation, reporting tools, and analyzing business performance metrics.
- Ability to effectively communicate insights and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Skilled in project management and prioritization, capable of thriving in a fast-moving and changing environment.
- A proactive ownership attitude with readiness to engage hands-on to achieve results.
- Knowledge of Japanese language is a plus, as the role involves interaction with the Japanese market.
