Join Specsavers in Dundrum as a Retail Supervisor, where you will play a pivotal role supporting store directors in daily retail operations. Your primary focus will be on leading, coaching, and motivating team members to deliver outstanding technical expertise and superior customer service. You'll utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive sales growth, control costs, and enhance profitability, ensuring the smooth running of the store.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of store appearance and presentation, addressing any issues proactively and with attention to detail.
• Continuously seek and implement opportunities to enhance the dispensing customer journey with a mindset geared toward ongoing improvement.
• Guarantee that all dispensing services conform strictly to group policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with the laboratory to provide customers with precise information regarding their order collection.
• Commit to ongoing personal development to enhance leadership and performance in a dynamic business environment.
• Exemplify excellent management practices to foster a supportive environment where staff feel valued, motivated, and engaged.
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding of new dispensing staff, ensuring effective induction processes.
• Lead regular team meetings as well as training and development initiatives to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
• Clarify roles and expectations through regular dialogue and manage team performance via one-on-one meetings, reviews, and goal setting.
• Ensure team training aligns with current and future store needs while adhering to relevant legislation.
• Strive to surpass individual and team targets consistently.
• Schedule adequate staffing levels to optimize store operations.
• Serve as a dedicated ambassador for Specsavers at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in optics is mandatory for this position. Candidates should demonstrate a hands-on approach with strong leadership skills and a dedication to maintaining exceptional retail and dispensing standards.
