Retail Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a Retail Supervisor to support the Store Manager in running daily operations within a retail store environment focused on well-known sports and lifestyle brands including The North Face, Sun and Sand Sports, Timberland, Nike, and Columbia. This role entails managing staff, monitoring inventory, ensuring compliance with brand standards, and assisting customers to boost sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager by overseeing staffing, reporting, and stock management activities.
• Conduct daily team briefings for each shift to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge across all brands to deliver excellent customer assistance.
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandisers to ensure store displays meet brand guidelines and attract customer interest.
• Drive sales targets by improving units per transaction (UPT), average transaction value (ATV), and customer retention.
• Ensure that store opening, closing, and transaction processes strictly follow the standard operating procedures of the brands.
• Care for stocks, inventory, mannequins, and all store items continuously.
• Work closely with inventory and merchandising teams to prevent stock losses by conducting stock counts and receiving shipments.
• Act as a company ambassador, upholding brand standards in every aspect of store operations.

Requirements

• Strong passion for sports and lifestyle products and services.
• At least one year of retail management experience, including time as a person-in-charge in a store setting.
• Proficient in verbal and written English communication.
• Professional demeanor with a pleasant personality; ability to remain effective under pressure.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective team leadership and people management skills.
• Experienced in coaching and mentoring retail staff.
• Familiarity with retail business systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Availability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
