Retail Store Supervisor

Overview

This role involves managing and overseeing store operations at the Crossroads Country Market location in McLellan's Brook, Nova Scotia. Work is strictly required onsite with no remote options.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise various staff including apprentices, stage hands, and the design team.
• Allocate daily duties to sales personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
• Handle recruitment processes and organize or provide necessary training for employees.
• Authorize product returns and maintain proper procedures.
• Create work schedules to optimize staffing.
• Directly sell merchandise to customers.
• Compile and submit reports concerning sales numbers, merchandising efforts, and employee performance.
• Address and resolve issues including customer inquiries, complaints, and supply shortages.
• Oversee inventory management and organization.
• Coordinate activities among team members to maintain smooth operations.

Requirements

• Completion of secondary (high) school or possess equivalent experience.
• Between 1 and less than 7 months of relevant work experience.
• Fluency in English language is necessary for effective communication.
• Must be available to work exclusively onsite at the physical store location.
