Retail Store Supervisor

Overview

This role involves overseeing daily operations at a retail location, ensuring staff management, sales activities, and inventory control are efficiently handled.

Languages

• Proficiency in English is required.

Education

• Completion of secondary (high) school is necessary.

Experience

No prior experience is required as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise staff members including apprentices, stage hands, and the design team.
• Delegate tasks and assign duties to sales personnel effectively.
• Recruit new employees and facilitate or coordinate their training processes.
• Create and manage work schedules for team members.
• Engage in direct selling of merchandise when necessary.
• Compile and prepare reports related to sales performance, merchandising efforts, and personnel issues.
• Address and resolve problems such as customer inquiries, complaints, and inventory shortages.
• Maintain and organize stock and inventory to optimize availability.
• Oversee and coordinate the activities of all workers to ensure smooth store operations.

Work Conditions

All work duties must be performed on-site at the physical store location. Remote work is not permitted.
