Retail Store Manager

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a high-performing retail team to achieve and surpass sales targets.
• Manage all daily store operations ensuring excellent customer service and operational compliance.
• Drive sales growth and profitability by consistently meeting KPIs and other business objectives.
• Assess store performance data to identify opportunities and execute strategic action plans.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain skilled team members, providing ongoing coaching and support.
• Conduct performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback to encourage development.
• Ensure smooth staff scheduling aligned with business needs, including managing full-time and part-time team members.
• Supervise stock management, merchandising standards, and loss prevention practices.
• Maintain rigorous adherence to company policies, retail procedures, and health and safety regulations.
• Foster a positive, inclusive culture focused on results and teamwork.

• Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment with a strong commercial mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to manage sales targets and key performance indicators effectively.
• Excellent people-management skills with a history of motivating and developing retail teams.
• Confident decision-maker who takes ownership of commercial outcomes.
• Well-organized with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of retail policies and procedures is advantageous.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and late-night trading.

Additional Details

• Salary range: €50,000 to €60,000 annually plus an attractive bonus/commission scheme.
• Working hours: 37.5 hours per week.
