About the Role
We are seeking an immediate hire for a small-format retail store manager (mall location) to lead our Waterloo store team. This role involves delivering outstanding customer and employee experiences, guiding your team, and driving sales performance to create a positive influence for our customers, staff, and community.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all store operations, collaborating with an assistant store leader, key holders, advisors, vendors, and business units.
- Provide motivation, coaching, and development to your team to ensure customers find the ideal products or services.
- Foster an inclusive, educational, and enjoyable team culture.
- Manage store key performance indicators including revenue, merchandising standards, inventory condition, and health and safety compliance.
- Maintain strong profit and loss accountability.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of seven years' experience managing retail stores.
- At least five years leading retail teams of 10 or more employees within small box retail environments generating over $2 million in revenue.
- Five or more years managing operational expenses and income analysis.
- Demonstrated success consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Hands-on leadership style that boosts employee engagement, enriches customer experience, and drives additional revenue.
- Capability to establish a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable workplace.

Additional Information
Work location: Unit H16 - 550 King Street North, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
Annual salary range: $52,000 - $66,000 CAD, eligible for a company performance bonus. Salary may vary by province. This position has an immediate vacancy.
