Job Overview

Family Dollar is hiring a Retail Store Manager in Baton Rouge, LA to lead store operations, guide associates, and enhance customer experiences while driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all operational facets of the store to boost sales and profitability.
• Supervise and coordinate daily store tasks to maintain efficient operations.
• Lead and develop team members fostering a positive growth environment.
• Deliver excellent customer service ensuring enjoyable shopping for all customers.
• Protect company assets and ensure security measures.
• Forge and strengthen community ties through active outreach and partnerships.
• Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Implement merchandising and operational strategies communicated by corporate headquarters.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong focus on achieving results and building effective team relationships.
• Exceptional communication abilities.
• Prior experience in retail management preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 55 lbs.
• Capability to perform tasks involving frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
