Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager position is a full-time, on-site role based in Limerick, responsible for the overall operation and performance of the retail store. This role involves leading, motivating, and managing the store team to deliver outstanding customer service, uphold high standards of store presentation, and achieve sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the store team to provide exceptional customer experiences.
• Manage daily staff schedules and oversee adherence to company policies.
• Monitor and drive sales targets to achieve business goals.
• Maintain attractive visual merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Handle customer inquiries and manage escalations with professionalism.
• Support customers with foot comfort solutions through in-depth product knowledge.
• Manage inventory control and ensure proper stock levels.
• Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Analyze store performance reports and contribute to local marketing and promotional activities.

Candidate Qualifications

• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and excellent customer service skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication abilities to engage customers and lead the team.
• Experience managing retail store operations and supervising staff.
• Knowledge of retail loss prevention, stock management, and cash handling accuracy.
• Previous retail management experience, preferably in footwear or specialty retail sectors.
• Capability to coach team members, set priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using basic IT systems, point-of-sale software, and interpreting sales metrics.
• Willingness to work weekends and peak shopping hours as needed.
• Must be eligible and able to work on-site in Limerick.
