Retail Store Manager

Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, sales targets, team management, customer service, inventory control, and compliance to ensure the smooth functioning and profitability of the retail outlet. The role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Sales & Business Performance

• Meet monthly and quarterly sales goals by promoting HP laptops, desktops, accessories, printers, and related technology products.
• Monitor store performance metrics and develop strategies to boost revenue.
• Leverage opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales.
• Analyze sales data to identify areas requiring corrective measures.

Store Operations

• Manage and ensure seamless daily operations of the retail store.
• Maintain visual merchandising and ensure adherence to HP brand standards.
• Oversee stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid shortages.
• Supervise proper opening and closing of the store.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and overall store ambiance.

Team Management

• Lead, motivate, and provide coaching to store staff to achieve business objectives.
• Develop staff schedules and manage attendance efficiently.
• Conduct daily briefings and periodic performance evaluations.
• Train employees on HP products, customer interaction, and effective sales techniques.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and grooming standards.

Customer Service

• Provide outstanding service to ensure an excellent shopping experience.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Foster long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings consistently.

Inventory & Cash Management

• Monitor inventory to minimize discrepancies and conduct periodic stock audits.
• Ensure accuracy in billing, cash handling, and POS transactions.
• Keep detailed records of cash, invoices, and store-related documentation.

Compliance & Reporting

• Adhere strictly to company policies and operational procedures.
• Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
• Coordinate with Human Resources, Finance, Warehouse, and Operations departments as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with audits and statutory regulations.
