Role Overview

As a Store Manager at Skechers in Medicine Hat Mall, Alberta, you will lead and motivate your team to provide outstanding customer service, meet sales objectives, and uphold exemplary visual merchandising standards. Your managerial abilities will oversee retail operations, create a welcoming store ambiance, and manage inventory processes smoothly. This position is crucial in achieving store targets, fostering employee growth, and embodying Skechers’ brand principles.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting hourly wage of $30.00, with a potential range up to $35.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a sales team to enhance customer service and achieve sales goals.
• Serve as a product expert and ensure outstanding visual merchandising and store layout.
• Handle recruitment, hiring, training, and retention of store staff.
• Manage daily retail operations including inventory control, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and maintaining store organization.
• Ensure product displays are appealing and shelves are well-stocked; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds is required.
• Implement sales strategies to drive revenue and meet performance targets.
• Address and resolve store-related problems to maintain seamless customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
• Previous experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality management is advantageous.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven sales aptitude and goal achievement in retail settings.
• Experience with visual merchandising is an asset.
