Retail Store Manager

Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager position at EMCHANNEL is a permanent, on-site role located in Kochi. This leader is responsible for managing all aspects of store operations on a daily basis and driving overall store performance to meet company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize employee schedules and oversee all sales floor activities.
• Ensure merchandising, inventory management, and store presentation align with corporate standards.
• Track sales goals, control inventory shrinkage, and implement loss prevention strategies to protect assets.
• Maintain accurate reporting and documentation for store operations.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service by resolving issues quickly and encouraging repeat patronage.
• Provide coaching and training to team members to support their development and adherence to policies.
• Collaborate with management on initiatives designed to increase profitability.

Candidate Requirements

• Excellent customer interaction skills, emphasizing satisfaction, service, and effective communication.
• Experience managing retail store operations, including team leadership and inventory supervision.
• Understanding and practical knowledge of retail loss prevention to reduce shrinkage and enforce compliance.
• Previous retail or store supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to commit to on-site full-time work in Kochi and manage shift schedules.
• Familiarity with sales reports, cash handling protocols, and POS/inventory technology.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage operational challenges and customer concerns effectively.
• Preferred education includes diploma or bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related discipline, though not mandatory.

Compensation

The role offers remuneration up to Rs 500,000 per annum.
