Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Security CCTV Operator to enhance security within a busy shopping mall and retail setting through vigilant monitoring of CCTV and related security systems. The role involves detecting suspicious behavior, promptly reporting incidents, and collaborating with security personnel and mall management to uphold safety for customers, tenants, and employees.

Primary Duties

• Operate and observe CCTV cameras and security systems throughout the mall and retail zones.
• Detect suspicious activity, theft, unauthorized access, accidents, and other risks.
• Monitor access control and alarm systems to maintain security oversight.
• Ensure continuous vigilance across assigned sectors and verify the functionality of CCTV and monitoring equipment.
• Report any technical malfunctions immediately.
• Promptly notify Security Supervisor and Operations Manager of incidents or suspicious events.
• Work in coordination with security staff during emergencies, incidents, and evacuation drills.
• Maintain communication with Mall Management and relevant stakeholders for security matters.
• Support incident response initiatives as needed.
• Keep detailed logs and documentation of CCTV monitoring activities and incidents.
• Safeguard confidentiality of security data and footage.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience ranging from three to five years as a CCTV Operator, preferably in mall, retail, hotel, or commercial environments.
• Possession of a valid SIRA CCTV Operator certification.
• Familiarity with CCTV technologies, security systems, and operational policies.
• Understanding of SIRA regulations and compliance criteria.
• Exceptional attention to detail and observation skills.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Capability to maintain focus during extended shifts.
• Ability to swiftly and appropriately manage security incidents and work under pressure.
• Proficient documentation and incident reporting skills.
