Job Overview

As a Retail Sales Supervisor at Staples, you will take charge of a sales team dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service, boosting sales, and ensuring smooth store operations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example in engaging customers with our sales approach and coach team members to do the same, prioritizing a customer-centric, results-driven environment.
• Actively engage with customers to enhance sales opportunities and ensure clear communication of ongoing promotions and flyer deals.
• Promote a sales-oriented culture by embracing and teaching new trends, products, and services while collaborating with store leaders to set and meet sales targets.
• Maintain operational standards across the store, supervising health and safety practices, loss prevention, and policy adherence.
• Commit time to personal learning and development while encouraging continuous training and growth among associates.
• Manage administrative responsibilities as a keyholder, including store opening and closing procedures, timekeeping, payroll, health and safety compliance, and asset protection.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in retail sales; prior experience in technology sales is an asset.
• Preferred 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity with direct responsibility for meeting sales and service goals.
• Strong communication abilities to motivate both customers and team members.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with effective prioritization and multitasking skills.
