Retail Sales Executive

About the Role

The Write Stuff is seeking a motivated and accountable Retail Sales Executive who can also handle store management duties for our expanding retail team. Candidates with showroom or store experience in categories such as toys, stationery, gifts, children's products, lifestyle items, books, or accessories will be preferred. Familiarity with brands or retail formats like Hamleys, Crossword, Miniso, Archies, or their equivalents is considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive customer service and support clients in selecting and purchasing products.
• Oversee daily operations of the showroom.
• Manage billing, POS systems, and cash counter operations as needed.
• Maintain organized product displays, ensure cleanliness, and arrange stock efficiently.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate restocking efforts.
• Supervise and guide other sales personnel.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while striving to meet store sales goals.
• Assist with store opening, closing, and other related responsibilities.

Candidate Profile

• Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor.
• Customer-oriented attitude with friendliness and approachability.
• Basic proficiency with computers and POS systems.
• Leadership qualities to manage and motivate staff.
• Prior retail or showroom sales experience, ideally over 2 years.

Additional Information

• Job Type: Full-time
• Weekly Off: One weekly off on a rotational basis between Monday and Thursday.
• Preference for candidates with a background in similar product categories or retail settings.
