About the Role

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service to new and expectant parents. Your goal is to create a positive and welcoming shopping atmosphere, helping customers by providing personalised product advice and recommendations.

Key Duties

• Engage warmly with customers, understanding their unique needs and offering tailored support.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits to guide customers in making well-informed purchasing choices.
• Manage stock accurately and maintain an attractive, well-organised store environment.
• Work flexibly on a rotating schedule, covering weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in customer service roles.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic retail setting.
• Commitment to high standards in both customer interaction and store presentation.
• Skilled at de-escalating challenging customer situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Physical capability to lift items up to 15kg from floor to shoulder and 10kg above shoulder level.
• Comfortable wearing a headset for communication during shifts and standing or walking for extended periods.
