Role Overview
This on-site, full-time Retail Merchandiser position based in Jaipur involves organizing and planning product displays to enhance product visibility and boost sales. Responsibilities include maintaining optimal stock levels, coordinating with sales teams, implementing visual merchandising standards, and designing store layouts for new collections and seasonal promotions. The role requires monitoring inventory levels, advising on reorder or markdown strategies, and collecting customer and store staff feedback to optimize product placement and selection. Close collaboration with sales and marketing departments is essential to support store events and branding efforts.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers, store personnel, and management.
- Proficient customer service to foster excellent in-store experiences and encourage repeat patronage.
- Solid knowledge of retail operations including visual merchandising techniques and inventory management.
- Sales and marketing abilities to promote products and contribute to achieving sales objectives.
- Experience in fashion, textiles, or apparel merchandising is an asset.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Jaipur, manage time well, and accommodate busy retail periods.
- Basic analytical capability to analyze sales data and suggest merchandising decisions.
- Minimum education requirement of higher secondary; diploma or degree in retail, fashion, or business is beneficial.
