Job description
Role Overview
This position involves actively monitoring and maintaining inventory levels across multiple platforms including systems, stores, and warehouses to ensure accurate stock information and enforce proper retail controls at store level. The role supports senior management by delivering correct STOH (Stock on Hand) data and managing inventory integrity.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute inventory reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly schedules and conduct thorough analysis of item performance.
- Enhance and maintain the inventory reporting framework to ensure high accuracy and consistency.
- Identify inventory items classified as "heavy" or "low" turnover and communicate findings through reports to respective teams.
- Manage and analyze inventory adjustments related to quantity and price variances.
- Conduct detailed investigations to resolve system-related issues affecting inventory accuracy.
- Maintain high standards of customer service for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Reduce inaccuracies in store stock information by rigorous data management.
- Lead and coordinate the complete stock audit process from planning stages through execution.
- Ensure stock items and related revenues are correctly managed and aligned across aLS and SAP systems.
- Organize and interpret complex data sets to facilitate decision-making.
- Proactively suggest process improvements to prevent inventory irregularities.
- Manage store receiving and shipping procedures including end of season (EOS) and inter-branch transfers.
- Report outcomes from investigations and any potential loss prevention concerns directly to senior retail management.
Key Performance Indicators
- Meet defined annual shrinkage targets through effective administration.
- Ensure monthly adjustments for uniform and damage stock.
- Achieve positive results in PRP internal control audits for relevant sections.
- Close investigation cases within a 48-hour timeframe.
- Maintain system alignment monthly between 98% and 100% accuracy.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient with advanced features of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Fluent communication in both English and Arabic.
- University degree or diploma qualification.
- Three to four years of retail inventory control experience focused on business operations.
- Experience in the sports or consumer goods sectors is preferred.
