About the Role

We are excited to open a new Brewers Decorator Centre in South Ealing and seek a highly driven Retail Branch Manager to lead this team, ensuring excellent customer service and driving sales growth. This role involves managing a team of four, overseeing daily store operations, and championing our broad product range from renowned brands like Armstead, Crown, Dulux, Farrow & Ball, Little Green, Johnstones, Sadolin, alongside our own Albany brand. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm, and Saturday from 8am to 5pm, with a delivery service extending our product reach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and manage a team of staff effectively to maintain smooth store operations.
  • Drive sales performance to meet and exceed targets, acquiring new customers and business opportunities.
  • Foster high standards of customer service aligned with Brewers values and brand reputation.
  • Represent the company positively within the local community and to customers.
  • Work independently, taking initiative to solve challenges and improve processes.
  • Maintain knowledge of local area to enhance customer service and local engagement.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in management or supervisory roles, ideally within retail or a related sector.
  • Proven ability to develop and inspire a team.
  • Successful track record of achieving sales goals and attracting new business.
  • Strong enthusiasm for sales and exceptional customer service capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and an approachable, supportive disposition.
  • Ability and willingness to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Previous decorative industry experience is preferable but not essential as full training is provided.
  • Ready to undergo training such as Fire Warden certification.

Additional Information

  • Employment Type: Part-time, 40 hours per week across 5 days including Monday to Friday and Saturday on a rota.
