About the Role and Organization

Dors (Design Orchard Retail Showcase) is Singapore's leading multi-label store, showcasing over 100 local lifestyle and fashion brands. Established as a creative hub on Orchard Road, DORS offers a physical and digital platform (via DORSe, an AI-enhanced channel) that promotes homegrown designers. Operated by the Singapore Fashion Council (SFC), DORS aims to foster a vibrant Asian hub for responsible fashion.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and engage customers, providing an outstanding in-store experience that embodies the DORS brand identity.
• Deliver attentive, personalized service ensuring superior customer satisfaction.
• Develop enduring client relationships by utilizing CRM tools and sharing authentic narratives about the brands and products.
• Maintain and expand a loyal customer base through proactive client engagement and follow-up communications.
• Meet individual and store sales targets by identifying every opportunity for upselling and cross-selling.
• Keep informed on market trends, product details, and active promotions to advise customers knowledgeably.
• Assist with daily operations including cashier duties, tidying, restocking, and upholding visual merchandising standards.
• Contribute to inventory management tasks such as stock counting and transfers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and administrative policies at all times.
• Support store events, brand activations, and promotional campaigns aimed at enriching customer experiences.
• Perform additional tasks as delegated by Store Manager or Retail Operations team.

Candidate Profile

• Self-driven and enthusiastic about providing excellent retail experiences.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills to relate to diverse customers.
• Positive team member comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment.
• Genuine passion for fashion, design, and brand storytelling, especially local and regional labels.
• Results-oriented with a focus on consistently achieving and surpassing sales KPIs and targets.
• Prior retail or customer-facing experience is preferred; senior roles require proven leadership and sales performance on the shop floor.
