Role Overview

The Restaurant Staff Assistant role is a full-time, onsite position in Port Harcourt, primarily supporting the daily operations of a restaurant. Responsibilities include aiding with food preparation, organizing service areas, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with serving food and drinks, and supporting wait staff during busy times. The incumbent ensures guests receive timely, courteous service, restocks supplies, keeps workspaces orderly, and communicates effectively with colleagues and patrons to enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proficient in basic food preparation and food and beverage handling techniques.
• Experienced or familiar with food service operations and delivering consistent customer service.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and hygiene standards, including proper handling and cleaning methods.
• Dependable attendance, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and ability to stand for long durations.
