Restaurant Staff

Job Summary

We are looking for an attentive and customer-oriented Restaurant Server to join our team in Kochi, Kerala. This role involves welcoming guests, accurately taking their orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a high-quality dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers upon their arrival and guide them to their seats promptly.
• Provide menus, suggest food and drink options, and address inquiries about ingredients and meal preparation.
• Record accurate order details using POS systems or order slips.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to guarantee timely and accurate food delivery.
• Serve meals, beverages, and side dishes efficiently while upholding cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Generate bills, handle payment processing via cash, cards, or UPI, and return correct change.
• Clear tables, change linens, and sanitize dining spaces between guests.
• Address customer complaints courteously and escalate unresolved issues to management.

Requirements

• Minimum education of 10th grade completion; 12th grade completion is preferred.
• Open to candidates with no prior experience as well as those with restaurant work history.
• Effective communication skills, active listening, teamwork capabilities, and a strong customer service orientation.

Compensation

Salary ranges between ₹15,000 and ₹18,000 per month.
