Role Overview

The Restaurant Server position is a full-time, onsite opportunity based at the DANBRO outlet in Lucknow. Responsibilities involve warmly welcoming guests, presenting menus, accurately taking food and beverage orders, delivering items efficiently, and handling billing processes. The role also includes ensuring cleanliness and organization of service areas and tables, monitoring guest satisfaction, addressing inquiries about the menu, and resolving minor issues professionally. Adhering to hygiene and safety protocols, assisting colleagues during peak periods, and embodying the brand values with courteous service are also essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant service aligning with five-star standards is essential.
• Possession of a degree from an Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) is considered advantageous.
• Candidates should be at least 5 feet 9 inches tall, fair-complexioned, and maintain a pleasant, smiling demeanor.
• Strong competence in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations, including foundational restaurant procedures, is required.
• Proven ability in Customer Service and effective Communication to engage respectfully with guests and team members is necessary.
• Practical knowledge of Food Preparation, including food safety and hygiene, is expected.
• Reliability, meticulous attention to detail, and stamina to stand for extended durations are important traits.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts that include weekends and public holidays, adapting to a fast-paced environment, is needed.
• Previous experience as a server or in similar hospitality roles is desirable but not mandatory, with training provided as required.
• Basic education and proficiency in local languages alongside simple English is helpful for effective guest interaction.

Salary and Vacancies

• Salary varies by position: Waiter Rs 16,000 to 22,000; Captain Rs 24,000 to 30,000; Manager Rs 26,000 to 36,000; Continuous CDP Rs 24,000 to 35,000; Commi 1 Rs 18,000 to 22,000; Commi 2 Rs 16,000; Commis 3 Rs 14,000; Trainee Rs 11,500.
