Role Overview
The Restaurant Manager role, based onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, entails managing the daily operational aspects of the restaurant. Responsibilities include overseeing staffing schedules, supervising both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment, and maintaining high standards of service and food quality. The role also involves monitoring and addressing customer feedback to boost satisfaction, supporting recruitment and training efforts, inventory control, and collaborating with senior leadership to meet sales and operational targets.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in hospitality or food and beverage, including restaurant management.
- Prior work experience in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, or similar established hospitality markets.
- Management background in upscale casual Lebanese restaurants or recognized Lebanese food and beverage brands.
- Strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and service excellence with the capability to manage guest feedback professionally.
- Skilled in hiring processes, including interviewing, onboarding, and staff development.
- Excellent communication abilities to coordinate internally across teams and externally with suppliers and management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu implementation, food safety standards, and quality control.
- Proven leadership to manage diverse teams, handle conflicts, and promote an inclusive, professional workplace culture.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Relevant educational background such as a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or equivalent fields.
- Strong commercial insight with an understanding of restaurant financial metrics and business performance.
- Demonstrated organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills backed by a stable employment history and clear career advancement.
