About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned and energetic General Manager to run all aspects of a premium South Indian fine dining restaurant located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The role involves overseeing front-of-house operations along with seamless collaboration with the kitchen to ensure a superior guest experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee entire restaurant operations including guest services and coordination with culinary team.
- Maintain premium standards for hospitality, atmosphere, and overall dining experience.
- Drive sales, revenue generation, profitability, and manage overall business performance metrics.
- Recruit, train, inspire, and manage restaurant staff to uphold service excellence.
- Ensure service quality, hygiene, proper grooming, and discipline within the team.
- Oversee staffing, schedules, inventory management, operational costs, and compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and provide swift solutions to concerns.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and management for new menu introductions, events, promotional activities, and other business initiatives.
- Review daily operations and reports including management information systems (MIS), food and beverage costs, and profitability (P&L) performance.
- Ensure adherence to FSSAI regulations, safety, licensing, and statutory compliance requirements.
Candidate Profile
- More than 10 years of relevant experience in premium/fine-dining restaurants or hospitality brands.
- Demonstrated success as a Restaurant General Manager, General Manager, or Operations Manager.
- In-depth knowledge of fine dining service protocols and restaurant operational management.
- Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent communication, team leadership, and guest service capabilities.
- Commercial acumen with skills in revenue growth and cost management.
- Preference for candidates with experience in premium South Indian or regional Indian restaurant environments.
