Job Overview

The Restaurant Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the restaurant’s cleanliness and ensuring the high standards of food and beverage service expected by Neiman Marcus are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep dishwashing, trash, and floor areas clean, organized, and compliant with health and kitchen standards.
• Operate and maintain dish machine by ensuring proper chemical levels, knowing how to use the machine, and reporting malfunctions to management.
• Maintain availability of chemical testers and correctly use sanitizing materials for cleaning tasks.
• Regularly check and empty trash receptacles when needed.
• Organize dish areas efficiently, including solutions for pots, pans, sinks, and silverware.
• Wash pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware swiftly while handling breakables carefully.
• Clean floors by removing spills, grease, and trash consistently.
• Provide assistance with food preparation and kitchen cleaning when necessary.
• Maintain professional relationships with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel.
• Adhere to all Health and Sanitation protocols as mandated by Neiman Marcus, local health authorities, and external auditors.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Capable of working independently.
• Motivated, results-oriented, and embraces a collaborative "win together" mindset.
• Physically able to stand for long periods, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Available to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business requirements.

Compensation and Additional Information

The salary for this position ranges from $17.05 to $21.32 per hour, with actual pay depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
