Role Overview

We are seeking a Captain to supervise the floor team and ensure every customer enjoys an outstanding dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the service team during shifts.
• Greet guests, manage seating arrangements, take orders, and oversee billing processes.
• Ensure accurate order-taking and timely food serving.
• Address guest inquiries, feedback, and resolve complaints effectively.
• Serve as a liaison between kitchen staff, counter personnel, and service team members.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the dining area.
• Handle opening and closing duties of the restaurant, including basic stock audits and cash reconciliations.
• Uphold consistent service quality, especially during busy hours.

Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in restaurants, cafes, or quick-service restaurants (QSRs) is preferred.
• Prior roles such as captain, senior steward, or shift supervisor are advantageous.
• Proficient communication skills in English plus Kannada or Hindi.
• Calm and effective leadership in high-pressure service scenarios.
• Familiarity with POS and billing software.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, discipline, and a customer-first mindset.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
