Role Overview

The Restaurant Captain is responsible for overseeing the daily functioning of the restaurant, managing the service team, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. This role involves maintaining service standards, upholding hygiene and discipline among staff, and supporting overall business objectives including sales performance.

Primary Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant activities and service personnel.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and manage guest complaints with professionalism.
• Attend to customer orders and work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely food delivery.
• Observe and enforce standards of staff grooming, punctuality, hygiene, and discipline.
• Ensure adherence to restaurant standard operating procedures, food safety protocols, and cleanliness.
• Assist with billing procedures, cash management, and prepare daily sales reports as needed.
• Collaborate with the restaurant manager to facilitate smooth operations of the outlet.
• Drive sales goals through upselling and enhancing customer satisfaction.
