Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent Restaurant Captain based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, to oversee and lead the service team at Aruvi Bakery And Sweets, ensuring high standards of customer service and smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the service staff throughout daily shifts.
• Greet patrons warmly to foster a welcoming dining atmosphere.
• Manage table assignments and delegate duties effectively among service personnel.
• Accurately take customer orders and oversee timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to synchronize order preparation and service.
• Maintain the presentation and quality of food and drinks in alignment with company standards.
• Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
• Ensure tables are properly set and uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and the overall appearance of the outlet.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings with the service team to prepare for operational requirements.
• Monitor grooming, discipline, attendance, and performance of service team members.
• Provide training and mentorship for newly recruited service employees.
• Ensure billing accuracies and adherence to POS procedures.
• Promote additional food and beverage sales through upselling techniques.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to relevant personnel.
• Ensure proper execution of opening and closing procedures for the outlet.
• Assist in preparing and managing daily shift or service reports.
• Adhere strictly to company SOPs, including those related to food safety, hygiene, and service quality.
• Collaborate with managers and other departments to guarantee smooth business operations.
