Job description
Position Overview
U.S. Facilities, Inc., a comprehensive building maintenance service provider, is seeking candidates for the Welcome Center Rest Area Attendant position at the Hardeeville, SC Welcome Center. This role focuses on general maintenance, cleaning tasks, and upkeep operations under supervision of the Project Manager or assigned supervisor.
Work Schedule
- Work shifts are Sunday through Tuesday from 7:00am to 3:00pm or 10:00am to 6:00pm
- Wednesday to Friday shifts are either 10:00am to 6:00pm or 3:00pm to 11:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Perform grounds maintenance including litter pickup, snow removal, and application of ice melt
- Manage solid waste and recycling containers, ensuring timely emptying per contract standards
- Maintain parking lots, sidewalks, flower beds, picnic areas, and grills
- Conduct interior building maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and other requested upkeep duties
- Perform janitorial services including sweeping/mopping support rooms, lobbies, and entrances; cleaning countertops, fixtures, windows, and mirrors
- Dust desks, surfaces, pictures, walls, and vacuum carpeted areas
- Empty garbage containers throughout office and common areas and maintain restroom cleanliness by disinfecting sinks, urinals, toilets, and replenishing supplies
- Clean and disinfect kitchen areas and strip/wax floors

Qualifications
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Possession of valid government-issued ID
- Reliable transportation to/from work site
- Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds
- Adherence to company drug and alcohol policies
- Prior janitorial experience is preferred
