Role Description

The Residential Cleaner position is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Newmarket, ON. Responsibilities include comprehensive cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom sanitation, surface wiping, and trash removal. Additional duties may involve organizing common spaces, cleaning windows and mirrors, maintaining cleaning tools and equipment, and adhering strictly to client-specific instructions. The role requires compliance with safety protocols, proper handling of cleaning agents, respect for client property, and maintaining a professional and courteous attitude. Candidates may travel between various client residences and work independently or collaboratively within a small team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proficient in residential cleaning practices including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and overall home sanitation.
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning checklists and client instructions accurately while demonstrating attention to detail and efficient time management.
• Physical fitness to stand, bend, lift light to moderate weights, and safely move between rooms and floors.
• Dependable and punctual, with the capability to work full-time on-site in Newmarket, ON, supported by reliable transportation to client locations.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact respectfully with clients and coworkers, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
• Basic knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment, following health and safety guidelines.
• Prior experience in professional residential or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory; training is available.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with a willingness to learn and adhere to company procedures and standards.
