Your Role

The Residence Butler will manage all aspects of personalized service for residents, ensuring a seamless and luxurious living experience from pre-arrival to departure. Responsibilities include coordinating preferences with residents before arrival, preparing the residence meticulously, welcoming residents with personalized attention, providing orientation, maintaining the residence per preference, managing laundry and valet services, handling deliveries securely, assisting with bookings and local experiences, and supporting resident events to foster community engagement.

During stays, the Butler observes and records resident habits and requests, oversees maintenance needs, handles packing/unpacking for arrivals and departures, and coordinates smooth checkouts with final inspections and presentation of departure gifts. Effective communication, updating guest profiles, detailed reporting, and shift handovers are key parts of this role.

The Butler also collaborates with other departments such as Housekeeping, Concierge, In-Room Dining, and Food & Beverage, always providing courteous, professional, and efficient service, resolving complaints promptly, and maintaining confidentiality of resident information. Attention to detail, discretion, professionalism, and flexibility in working hours are essential.

General Duties

• Manage resident requests with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of residences, wardrobes, and amenities.
• Handle guest laundry, pressing, dry-cleaning, and shoe polishing according to standards.
• Deliver mail and messages promptly.
• Coordinate with housekeeping for cleaning schedules based on resident preferences.
• Know all hotel facilities and stay informed about promotions, menu updates, activities, guest counts, and arrivals/departures.
• Arrange medical assistance when necessary.
• Maintain equipment and ensure quality silverware, glassware, and chinaware upkeep.
• Host residents graciously and manage residence receptions and dinner parties.
• Monitor operating supplies to minimize spoilage and wastage.
• Provide discreet, courteous service respecting timing protocols.
• Ensure effective communication across departments to optimize service quality.
