As an AI Verify Foundation Partner, TaskHived contributes to a broad ecosystem devoted to responsible and verifiable AI technology.

Role Overview

This is a full-time researcher position based in Singapore with a hybrid working arrangement allowing part-time remote work. The primary responsibility is to design and execute research studies aimed at assessing the reliability, robustness, and practical alignment of AI systems with real-world requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define research questions and methodologies focusing on AI system evaluations.
• Collect and analyze data through both empirical and experimental means.
• Develop frameworks for evaluating AI model behavior and reliability.
• Document research outcomes through clear, structured reports accessible to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and client teams to translate findings into actionable validation tools and best practices.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in AI safety, governance, and evaluation literature.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and the establishment of standardized approaches to AI system validation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in designing experiments and conducting empirical research, including data interpretation using quantitative or qualitative methods.
• Solid understanding of AI, machine learning, or data science concepts, particularly regarding model performance evaluation and limitations.
• Effective communicator with strong report writing and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences.
• Team-player capable of managing multiple research projects in a dynamic start-up setting.
• Academic credentials in computer science, data science, statistics, engineering, or closely related disciplines; graduate-level research background is a plus.
• Awareness of AI ethics, safety, governance frameworks, and regulatory considerations is advantageous.
• Comfortable with hybrid work involving both onsite presence in Singapore and remote tasks.
