Research Scientist

Position Overview

NVIDIA is seeking exceptional AI researchers to join its Research team located in Singapore. The team's mission is to advance GPU-accelerated AI computing with a focus on language models, visual generative models, and robotics. The role centers around pushing generative AI boundaries by creating models that are both highly capable and computationally efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research, design, and accelerate innovative generative AI models.
• Publish original scientific research in prominent machine learning, robotics, and computer vision venues.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
• Provide mentoring to interns and junior researchers.
• Present research findings at industry conferences and public events.
• Facilitate the transfer of developed technology to product teams.
• Engage in collaboration with external researchers and academic institutions.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in large language models (LLM) and foundational AI models.
• Proven track record of publications at major conferences such as CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, or NeurIPS.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in AI research.
• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a closely related field demonstrating significant research achievements.
• Proficiency in programming languages suited for rapid prototyping, especially Python; knowledge of C++ and parallel programming (especially CUDA) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art machine learning libraries, particularly PyTorch.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
