Research Fellow

Overview

The Research Fellow will be responsible for conducting research activities on designated projects, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks and regularly updating project status. This role involves active participation in research survey design, data collection, qualitative and quantitative analysis, report compilation, and presentation development.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute independently to research projects including survey methodology design, fieldwork, data collection, interviews, analysis, and preparing reports and presentations.
• Under guidance, apply scientific methodologies, conduct literature reviews, and gather relevant references.
• Support implementation of policies to maintain research quality consistent with accreditation standards.
• Develop and organize repositories containing priority research topics, documentation, and policies.
• Collaborate with team members to design and manage research databases.
• Execute fieldwork protocols to obtain accurate data and oversee related operations.
• Collect data from diverse sources, conduct calculations to create visualization aids, and summarize findings for dissemination.
• Pursue publication of peer-reviewed articles independently or collaboratively.
• Assist with drafting proposals for external funding bodies.
• Maintain current documentation reflecting progress of research projects.
• Engage in scientific events, supporting their organization and networking with research institutions.
• Train junior researchers and staff on specialized research tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with students on their research initiatives.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Between 3 to 5 years of professional experience in research roles.
• Demonstrated research track record.
• Advanced knowledge of technical principles and professional practices applicable to the field.
• Ability to resolve complex technical issues using acquired expertise.
• Strong written communication skills capable of drafting and editing diverse reports and documents, with Arabic language skills considered an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
