Job description

Job Location and Compensation

This full-time position is based in Singapore with a standard five-day workweek from Monday to Friday. The remuneration package includes a monthly salary up to SGD 6,000, a 13th-month bonus, and a potential variable bonus of up to three months' salary.

About BullionStar

BullionStar is a prominent dealer in precious metals located in Singapore, specializing in the sale, repurchase, storage, and delivery of physical gold, silver, and platinum for a diverse clientele ranging from individual first-time buyers to institutional investors globally. The company operates a physical showroom, an extensive e-commerce platform, and vault storage facilities across several jurisdictions. It is independently owned and founder-led, emphasizing transparency, trust, and a lean operational structure.

Role Overview

This role demands an individual passionate about precious metals who can effectively communicate and influence perspectives online. You will serve as the primary voice of BullionStar across various platforms including the company website, social media (X), Reddit, and relevant forums, engaging with audiences in a manner that resonates as an authentic, personal voice supported by the company's reach.

Main Responsibilities

  • Produce a high volume of content including long-form articles for the website, shorter posts for social media, and concise comments for forums.
  • Develop and maintain strong, well-defended viewpoints on topics such as central bank purchases, the LBMA, distinctions between paper claims and allocated metals, and market price movements.
  • Conduct primary research by analyzing raw data sources such as COMEX, LBMA, central bank disclosures, refinery flows, and customs figures to uncover original insights.
  • Engage authentically in online communities where customers discuss gold purchasing, particularly on platforms like Reddit and X, representing BullionStar with informed, personal interaction rather than managed brand messaging.
  • Ensure all published information is thoroughly sourced and defensible under scrutiny, balancing passion for the subject with rigorous validation.
  • Manage content scheduling and follow-up analytics with an emphasis on impact and engagement outcomes.

Candidate Profile – Essential Qualifications

  • Established enthusiast and investor in gold or silver metals with longstanding, considered opinions on topics such as the People's Bank of China's holdings, the nature of unallocated gold, and the viability of COMEX default theories.
  • Exceptional writing and communication abilities with clarity, personality, and precision, capable of making complex financial arguments accessible and concise.
  • Comfortable with being publicly associated with their authored content, maintaining transparency and personal accountability.
  • Demonstrates honesty even when data does not favor bullish perspectives, upholding integrity as the role’s cornerstone.
  • Native-level proficiency in written English.

Preferred Attributes

  • Residence in Singapore to foster close collaboration and genuine culture integration.
  • A verifiable portfolio of published work such as a blog, Substack, YouTube channel, or an active social media presence showcasing opinions on precious metals.
  • Openness to leveraging AI tools for drafting assistance without compromising authenticity and originality.
  • Ability to extract and visualize data, building charts and explaining trends effectively.

What the Role is Not

  • This position is not a social media management role; it does not involve typical tactics such as engagement bait or content growth hacks.
  • Applicants need not possess formal social media training or marketing certifications.
  • The role explicitly avoids neutral journalism, brand voice conformity, or copywriting based on external briefs.
  • Authenticity in voice and perspective is paramount; imitation of existing company tone is discouraged.
