About the Internship
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to monitor and analyze political, policy, governance, and socioeconomic developments throughout India. You will engage in both primary and secondary research methods including surveys, interviews, questionnaires, and publicly available news and data sources. The role supports both qualitative and quantitative research initiatives for a variety of ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor political, policy, governance, and socioeconomic trends nationwide.
- Conduct comprehensive data collection through diverse research methods.
- Assist with qualitative and quantitative analyses to support project goals.
- Organize, clean, and analyze collected data to extract meaningful insights.
- Evaluate the impact of national and state developments at regional and hyperlocal levels.
- Prepare detailed research notes, reports, presentations, briefs, and frameworks.
- Contribute to electoral, political, governance, and public opinion research efforts.
- Perform fact-checking, validation, and quality control to ensure accuracy of outputs.
- Provide general support to research teams for day-to-day project tasks.

Skills & Qualifications
- Strong enthusiasm and familiarity with Indian politics, governance, public policy, and election dynamics.
- Effective written and spoken communication skills in both English and Hindi.
- Basic grasp of qualitative and/or quantitative research methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking capabilities for interpreting data.
- Ability to conduct methodical research utilizing multiple informational sources.
- Competence in Google Sheets or Excel, Google Docs, and PowerPoint tools.
- Adaptability to fast-paced, deadline-oriented work settings.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and handle diverse assignments.
Compensation and Perks
