About the Role

We invite motivated and analytical individuals to join V20 Automotive Vendor 20 Group as Research Analysts. This full-time position located in Sydney offers the chance to engage in insightful market research, competitive intelligence, and strategic business analysis to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed market research, industry evaluation, and competitor intelligence to aid business strategies.
  • Collect, structure, and analyze both qualitative and quantitative information from diverse data sources.
  • Spot emerging trends, potential market opportunities, and industry developments.
  • Compile comprehensive research documents, executive briefs, presentations, and actionable strategic advice.
  • Examine financial, economic, and operational datasets to facilitate business planning and decisions.
  • Generate business insights through data analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Keep abreast of industry news, regulatory changes, and competitor movements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on various research projects and strategic efforts.
  • Manage databases and maintain thorough documentation and knowledge bases.
  • Assist in project planning, performing due diligence, and fulfilling special research tasks as needed.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in fields such as Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Preferably, experience in market/business research, consulting, strategy, or financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in researching, interpreting data, and generating detailed reports.
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Workspace environments.
  • Familiarity with data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or similar analytical tools is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience utilizing AI-powered research and productivity solutions such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or Gemini will be an asset.
