Rental Sales Agent

Position Overview

Green Motion UAE is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Rental Agent to become an integral part of our expanding car rental team in Dubai. This role offers an opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, target-driven environment focused on delivering excellent customer service and maximizing rental bookings.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their travel and vehicle needs effectively.
• Suggest appropriate vehicles to customers and successfully convert inquiries into confirmed rentals.
• Manage bookings received via walk-ins, phone calls, online platforms, brokers, and aggregators.
• Prepare and verify all rental and leasing contracts alongside necessary customer documentation.
• Boost revenue by upselling products such as collision damage waivers, GPS, child seats, additional drivers, upgrades, and other value-added services.
• Conduct thorough vehicle handovers and returns, ensuring checks on mileage, fuel levels, and condition are meticulously performed.
• Handle financial transactions including payments, security deposits, refunds, and carry out daily financial reconciliation.
• Keep accurate and updated records of customers and vehicle details.
• Resolve customer complaints, manage booking modifications, extensions, and disputes with professionalism.
• Proactively contact customers prior to rental end dates to discuss extensions and payment collection.
• Follow up on delinquent accounts and outstanding payments to maintain financial health.
• Work confidently using systems such as TARS, Abu Dhabi Police System, and rental aggregator/broker platforms.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous work experience in car rental, leasing, automotive sales, hospitality, travel, or direct customer sales roles.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service abilities.
• Proven track record of effective selling and upselling with goal achievement.
• Familiarity with Dubai and UAE road networks and locations.
• Meticulous with details and competent in managing contracts, payments, and customer accounts.
• Experience with TARS and rental aggregator/broker systems preferred, with knowledge of Abu Dhabi Police System considered an asset.
• Holding a UAE driving license is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is beneficial.
• Highly professional, energetic, dependable, and capable of coping with pressure.
