Role Overview
The Beautician position is a full-time remote role dedicated to delivering expert beauty advice and support to customers and internal teams. Daily duties include providing customized recommendations on skincare, makeup, and haircare through virtual consultations, messaging, or video calls. Responsibilities also involve demonstrating product application techniques, educating clients on benefits and routines, resolving beauty-related concerns, collaborating with marketing and product teams to gather customer feedback, contributing to educational content, and staying updated with the latest trends and product launches. Maintaining precise customer interaction records, adhering to quality service standards, and engaging in ongoing training to enhance product and technical knowledge are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive practical expertise in skincare, makeup, and haircare methods to offer personalized guidance to a varied clientele.
- Strong communication and customer service skills including attentive listening and clear, empathetic communication suited for digital platforms.
- Proficiency using remote consultation technology, video conferencing tools, and standard office software to manage appointments and follow-ups.
- Capability to work autonomously, efficiently organize time in a remote setting, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Previous experience as a beautician, cosmetologist, aesthetician, or beauty advisor, with preference given to individuals holding professional certifications in cosmetology.
- Enthusiastic about beauty industry trends and committed to continuously updating knowledge of products and techniques.
- High standards of professionalism coupled with respect for diversity and a dedication to inclusive, discrimination-free customer service.
