Job description
About the Role
We are excited to announce an opening for a Relief Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the Clonmel store in County Tipperary, Ireland. This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, situated on-site in our well-managed retail pharmacy environment. The team includes a Supervising Pharmacist, a Retail Store Manager, Relief Pharmacists, Technicians, and Sales Assistants.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Prepare and dispense medications under the Pharmacist's supervision, ensuring professionalism and care.
- Manage inventory by controlling stock levels and placing medicine orders based on store needs.
- Prepare blister packs and handle related claims processing and tracking efficiently.
- Support and report to the Pharmacist within a busy dispensary setting.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a busy dispensary is advantageous, though applications from newly qualified technicians are welcomed.
- Familiarity with McLernons MPS software is beneficial.
- Completion of the IPU Pharmacy Technician course or a Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is preferred.
