Reliability Maintenance Engineer / Facilities Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Reliability Maintenance Engineers. The primary objective in this role is to uphold all safety guidelines and policies, ensure timely and high-quality preventive maintenance, and continuously work towards maximizing equipment availability through ongoing improvements.

Work Schedule

The position involves working non-traditional shift hours, which may include night shifts and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety best practices in all tasks, ensuring strict compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for fulfillment center assets, including material handling and automation equipment.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems such as relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, electronic sensors, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, sorters, and mechanical parts like rolls, bearings, and belts.
• Serve as a safety ambassador within the team and promote safe working habits throughout the facility.
• Oversee daily engineering and soft services operations, including housekeeping and premises maintenance.
• Manage environmental, health, safety (EHS), and statutory compliance for the fulfillment center, including waste and hazardous waste management according to regulations, as well as ensuring timely license renewals.
• Foster strong working relationships across all organizational levels.
• Provide constructive feedback aimed at improving individual team member performance.
• Effectively prioritize tasks and allocate resources under high-pressure conditions.
• Supervise everyday facility activities, including conveyor system upkeep and maintenance works performed by staff and external contractors.
• Ensure facility systems checks are performed via computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Offer technical guidance related to material handling equipment and building automation system maintenance.
• Support and motivate technicians, sharing knowledge and hands-on expertise.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in any of the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, or Instrumentation and Controls.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for planning proactive maintenance and documenting reactive repair tasks.
