- Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMECA) to identify issues and prevent recurrence.
- Establish, evaluate, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance policies based on Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodologies.
- Lead initiatives aimed at boosting reliability of critical equipment and systems.
- Track and improve vital reliability indicators such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and asset availability.
- Act as a subject matter expert on condition monitoring, asset health, and reliability tools.
- Lead interdisciplinary teams focused on reliability enhancement and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Engage with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), vendors, and contractors to resolve advanced technical challenges.
- Employ Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for maintenance planning and data analysis.
- Assist with the integration of digital technologies including Asset Performance Management (APM), Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, and data analytics platforms.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports for transparent communication of asset health and reliability metrics.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
- At least 10 years’ experience in maintenance and reliability engineering within functional industrial plants, with a minimum of 5 years explicitly focused on reliability and asset engineering.
- Comprehensive understanding of asset management frameworks.
- Expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Reliability Excellence (REX), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMECA), Weibull analysis, and related maintenance data evaluation techniques.
- Emphasis on safety with thorough knowledge of maintenance and safety standards and best practices.
- Acquainted with regulatory and environmental compliance norms.
- In-depth knowledge of condition monitoring technologies.
- Industry experience in areas such as hydrogen electrolysis, hydrogen storage, ammonia manufacturing, power systems, or air separation.
- Understanding of stage-gate processes for capital projects and asset handover procedures.
