Release Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Release Engineer with over 6 years of experience to join our Hyderabad team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in release management and engineering, with a strong background in automation and container orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee software release cycles across Development, Staging, and Production environments.
• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines to foster efficient deployments.
• Create automation tools and workflows utilizing GoLang or Python.
• Manage containerized deployments leveraging Docker and Kubernetes technologies.
• Guarantee stable, repeatable releases with zero downtime and support rollback mechanisms.
• Diagnose and resolve build, deployment, and infrastructure challenges promptly.
• Work collaboratively with Development, QA, DevOps, and Operations teams to enhance release effectiveness.
• Champion process improvements in release management and deployment strategies.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proficient in Release Management and Engineering practices.
• Strong command of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration.
• Programming skills in GoLang or Python for automation and tool development.
• Familiarity with Git workflows and branching strategies.
• Capability to implement automated deployment and release pipelines.
• Expertise in zero-downtime deployment and rollback tactics.
• Competency in troubleshooting build, release, and infrastructure issues.
