Relationship Manager - Mid Market

Role Overview

This role involves overseeing and expanding a portfolio of corporate clients by delivering tailored banking services and maintaining robust client relations. The objective is to drive business expansion, generate income, and meet profitability goals aligned with the bank's strategic plan and credit guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue revenue-generating opportunities within designated market sectors and potential customer segments to support the bank's business plan.
• Achieve annual budget targets allocated to the specific client portfolio.
• Manage and nurture existing customer accounts to maximize profitability while adhering to the bank's credit policy.
• Develop relationships with new clients in the assigned industries.
• Recognize and address high-risk situations promptly to ensure appropriate management and recovery actions.
• Engage with current and prospective key banking clients to maintain and augment profitable partnerships.
• Promote and cross-sell the bank's products and services effectively.
• Represent the bank positively in the marketplace to enhance its reputation.
• Prepare timely, high-quality credit proposals for internal review and approval in accordance with delegated authority.
• Maintain awareness of credit policies including IFRS9, overdue accounts, credit limit breaches, documentation completeness, call reporting, and insurance tracking.

Eligibility and Qualifications

• Applicants must be Omani nationals.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in banking or related financial sectors.
