Job description

About the Role

We are seeking an energetic recruitment professional to join our Human Resources team on a permanent full-time basis. This position requires a Level 8 Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related discipline, alongside at least one year of proven experience in recruitment or HR, preferably within healthcare. Candidates must be highly proficient with IT and recruitment tools, have excellent communication and organizational abilities, and be capable of managing several recruitment campaigns concurrently. Eligibility to work unrestricted in Sligo is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Recruitment Manager to design and implement national and international recruitment plans targeting qualified Social Care personnel.
  • Leverage diverse sourcing platforms including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events to attract candidates.
  • Review applications, conduct preliminary screenings, shortlist candidates, and assess alignment with company values.
  • Arrange and conduct interviews and maintain a detailed employee database for future job openings.
  • Ensure recruitment compliance with HIQA, Tusla, and internal quality standards including Garda vetting, mandatory trainings, and reference verification.
  • Manage onboarding procedures ensuring smooth integration of new team members.
  • Handle employment contracts, offers, and related documentation administration.
  • Enhance the company’s reputation as a preferred employer through creative recruitment campaigns and content for social media and other platforms.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and compliance records via the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and provide regular recruitment metrics reports.
  • Partner with operations management to forecast staffing requirements and suggest improvements in recruitment processes and candidate experience.

Working Hours and Location

The working schedule is Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 17:30, and Friday from 9:00 to 16:30. After a three-month period, a hybrid working model applies, typically involving three days onsite at the Sligo office, subject to review.
