About GSM and Role Overview

The Recruitment Manager spearheads GSM's comprehensive talent acquisition efforts, aiming to attract, evaluate, and onboard outstanding candidates efficiently and cost-effectively. This leadership position involves formulating recruitment strategies, directing a team of recruiters, collaborating extensively with department leaders to identify hiring requirements, and cultivating a robust employer brand to drive GSM's strategic growth.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and refine GSM's recruitment strategies, policies, and processes company-wide.
  • Lead and mentor the recruitment team by setting objectives, monitoring progress, and enhancing team capabilities.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and senior management to anticipate hiring needs and devise corresponding recruitment plans.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment process including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiation, and onboarding, especially for senior and critical roles.
  • Establish and maintain a qualified candidate pipeline via proactive sourcing, employee referrals, university engagement, and agency partnerships.
  • Manage partnerships with recruitment agencies, job portals, academic institutions, and other external talent sources.
  • Promote GSM's employer brand through online platforms, social media, and participation in job fairs to attract skilled professionals.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, and offer acceptance rates to organizational leadership.
  • Ensure recruitment complies with labor legislation, internal policies, and diversity and inclusion standards.
  • Control the recruitment budget, including agency fees, advertising expenses, and event costs.
  • Regularly compare GSM's compensation and hiring procedures with industry benchmarks.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; master's degree favorable.
  • Between 5 to 8+ years of advanced experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with minimum 2 to 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven skills in managing end-to-end recruitment processes for diverse roles, including senior and specialized jobs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and compliance related to recruitment.
  • Illustrated ability to lead and grow a recruitment team successfully.
