Job description
Role Summary
The Recruitment Consultant is entrusted with overseeing recruitment processes and linking qualified candidates with appropriate job opportunities. This includes grasping hiring requirements, sourcing and evaluating applicants, managing recruitment stages, and nurturing strong relationships with both candidates and hiring entities. The role supports end-to-end recruitment lifecycle ensuring professionalism, efficiency, and a positive experience for all parties.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehend hiring needs, job descriptions, organizational expectations, and candidate criteria.
- Design and execute sourcing plans utilizing job portals, professional networks, social media, databases, and other means.
- Screen, assess, and select candidates based on skills, qualifications, competencies, and job requirements.
- Conduct interviews, screening calls, assessments, and qualification discussions with prospective candidates.
- Establish and sustain strong candidate relationships throughout the recruitment journey.
- Present qualified applicants to hiring managers or clients accompanied by pertinent candidate information.
- Manage scheduling for interviews, assessments, feedback sessions, offer communications, and related activities.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of candidates, recruitment activities, and pipelines using ATS or CRM tools.
- Communicate clearly with candidates about role details, recruitment steps, expectations, and next stages.
- Build and update talent pipelines for immediate and future hiring needs.
- Track and analyze recruitment performance metrics, candidate conversion rates, and pipeline status.
- Offer market intelligence and recruitment advice based on sourcing trends and hiring dynamics.
- Ensure that recruitment practices are consistently professional, compliant, and aligned with company standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or related fields.
- Comprehensive knowledge of recruitment methodologies including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and talent acquisition.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management capabilities.
- Expertise in assessing candidate qualifications, motivational drivers, and role compatibility.
- Proficient with applicant tracking systems, recruitment software, networking platforms, and sourcing instruments.
- Strong research skills with attention to accuracy and detail for sourcing potential candidates.
- Excellent organizational and time management capacity to handle multiple jobs simultaneously.
- Efficient follow-up and coordination skills across the recruitment lifecycle.
- Effective communication ability with candidates, clients, hiring managers, and internal teams.
- Critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making abilities paired with a professional and service-focused approach.
- Motivated, adaptable, target-oriented, and proactive under recruitment goals.
- Capacity to protect confidentiality and manage sensitive candidate and company data responsibly.
