Role Overview

We are seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join our London office. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years’ experience in recruitment, sales, or other customer-facing commercial roles, and desire to advance their career in recruitment by managing the entire recruitment process within a dedicated market segment.

This role offers ownership from early on, supported by structured training and mentorship, enabling you to build client and candidate relationships, source top-tier talent, manage recruitment negotiations, and develop a personal revenue-generating portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and nurture new business relationships, securing long-term clients
  • Identify and proactively approach high-quality candidates through sourcing and headhunting
  • Manage end-to-end client and candidate engagement throughout recruitment
  • Conduct meetings to thoroughly understand hiring needs and provide expert advice
  • Negotiate job offers and oversee related commercial transactions
  • Build and manage a profitable recruitment desk within your specialized market
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of your sector and market dynamics
  • Contribute innovative ideas and take personal responsibility for success

Candidate Profile

  • Possesses 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, sales, business development, or similar commercially focused roles
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets and KPIs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of developing relationships and influencing stakeholders effectively
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to manage workload proactively
  • Interest in business growth, people management, and organizational development
  • Ambitious, resilient, and commercially driven, with confidence in initiating client contact
