Job description
About the Role
The recruiting function at Stephanus-Stiftung is centrally organized to support various internal departments in acquiring new employees. Operating within a high-volume recruiting environment, the team manages numerous concurrent job vacancies and application processes across diverse professional groups and fields. The centralized applicant management system used is Bewerber³ by P&I LOGA, designated as the mandatory system under the HRIS strategy.
As a Recruiting Specialist, you will manage your dedicated area, ensuring that managers receive appropriate applications for their open positions. Your responsibilities include directing recruitment activities, developing campaigns, and selecting suitable recruiting channels. Conducting interviews is generally not part of your tasks except in exceptional cases. Your focus lies on effective personnel acquisition and proactive management of recruitment processes. You will work as part of an experienced recruiting team that regularly collaborates through fixed meetings, team sessions, and collegial consultations to devise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee in-house applicant management for your assigned areas, provide professional candidate advice, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Plan and manage strategic recruitment campaigns for your area by analyzing target groups and staffing needs and selecting appropriate recruiting channels and actions.
- Create and optimize job postings targeted to the audience, incorporating SEO and GEO criteria. Utilize tools such as Google Trends and insights into search behaviors to continuously enhance reach and discoverability.
- Implement active sourcing particularly for difficult-to-fill roles, advancing skills in LinkedIn Recruiter and direct candidate approaches.
- Proactively steer recruitment processes ensuring managers consistently receive qualified applications, managing priorities, deadlines, and necessary feedback even under multiple concurrent recruitment activities.
- Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of recruiting strategies, propose ideas, and collaborate closely with employer branding and other HR areas.
Candidate Profile
- Completed degree or vocational training; specific academic discipline is less critical than the ability to work methodically with various topics and target groups.
- Passion for recruiting and contemporary talent acquisition with a desire to independently assume responsibility for a recruitment domain and actively shape it.
- Familiarity with SEO, GEO criteria, and Google Trends; comprehensive understanding of how digital search behavior and targeted content impact talent attraction.
- Initial experience in active sourcing, ideally with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools.
- Strong capability for autonomous and organized work; ability to prioritize effectively while managing numerous simultaneous recruitment processes.
- Persistence and reliable communication skills, consistently following up on outstanding matters and maintaining solution focus during delayed feedback.
- Openness to and understanding of the organization's diaconal culture.
